We have now been able to restart our two shows per year at the Brentwood School Memorial Hall.
We performed Visiting Hour in April 2024, and Ten Times Table in October 2024 (note however the financial details of Ten Time Table will be in the 2024-25 accounts).
We have also held various social events during the year.
We have had some generous donations, £1000 Donation from Janet Cass and a £1012 donation for Pat Stayley. The Brentwood Arts Council have also given us support with a £500 grant for which we are grateful. Some of the donation from Pat has been used to buy a new storage shed which is now installed within the barn, to protect costumes and other delicate items.
The accounts show a £1,950 profit for the year. We would not have been in profit without the donations.
The Visiting Hour show had a loss of £240 based on the sale of tickets to non-members. However if around 24 members came to this show you could allocate £10 per member to this show, so in this case the show broke even.
As previous years the club Quiz nights created a good profit which helps the finance of the club.
