REVIEW: 2026 Spring QUIZ with The Hutton Players

On Friday 8 May, the Marlborough and sister drama group, the Hutton Players, joined forces to host the first of two quizzes planned for 2026. Around 45 people attended Shenfield Parish Hall and were taken through a fast-paced and tricky set of questions, set by Quizmaster, Reg Wheeler. Hutton Players’ treasurer Ed Harvey’s table won, beating the next table by only one point! With a raffle and a few additional games played over the course of the evening, we happily made around £630 which will be shared equally between the two clubs and will help to fund our next shows. The second quiz is on 18 September, and we will confirm all the details of how to book in summer 2026. It was also fabulous to see some new faces at this quiz, including brand new Club members Margaret and Martin H. Welcome to the Marlborough!
