Synopsis:

Finding that their branch railway line will be axed, a group of villagers decide to buy the railway and run it themselves. Now they must convince the railway authorities they are competent, and compete against a planned bus service.

Roles available - 14

Please note - there are not many descriptions of the main characters regarding playing ages and some can be either gender, so this allows us to be very flexible with our cast.

There will also be a number of ensemble scenes with non-speaking roles (train passengers / villagers, etc.) of any age / gender, so all are welcome to the auditions.
