It is with great sadness that we report the death of Janet Cass who died on 29th August 2022.
She was a Vice President of the Marlborough Dramatic Club.
We extend our sympathy to the family and friends.

OBITUARY
As an actress and director of legend, Janet Cass was a much loved member of the Marlborough over many decades. Artistically gifted, her talents as a comedic actress and award winning singer (Brentwood Operatic Society) gave pleasure to many.
As a director she had great understanding of her craft which she imparted to her casts. “Noises Off” was one of the most memorable of her productions.
Jan was also a stage makeup artist - especially in enhancing the male actors!!
Her abundant floral displays at front of house were much admired by audiences awaiting “curtain up”.
She will be remembered with enormous affection by all who knew and worked with her.
