Early in 2025, the Marlborough were lucky enough to welcome Mark Griffiths to the club when he joined the cast of ‘The Ladykillers’. His role as ‘One Round’ was beautifully comedically timed and had the audience in stitches every performance. But he was not only a cast member, Mark offered his help as part of the crew too, proving invaluable helping to build and then dismantle the set. We are extremely shocked and sad that this talented, kind, true gentleman is no longer with us. We extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to his family, friends and the local amateur dramatic community as they/we try to come to terms with the loss. We’ll be joining all the local am-dram groups in 2026 using #MakeItForMark in our socials during our productions to honour his memory. R.I.P., dear Mark Griffiths.
