2021 AGM Treasurers report by Mark Watson-Lee

This is the second year I have been the treasurer of the club.

Again our activities have been severely curtailed by the Pandemic, in that we were unable to present any shows.

Some work continued in preparing our sets for hopefully the next Production in April 2022.

As the accounts shows it does cost us nearly £1,000 per year in expenses even if we do not put on any shows. This includes rental of our Barn, Electricity costs (of which the shooting club next door contribute), Insurance costs which still have to be paid, but at a reduced level as we are not currently insuring cancelation costs.

All bills are paid by Bank transfer only, we are also encouraging members to pay subscriptions by BACS when they can, however members can pay by cheque or cash if they wish.

We now also have a card reader which works with debit/credit cards, smartphone payments etc, so this will be available for payment at future events.

We are proposing a revised fee list for 2022 to be discussed at the AGM, click here to view

I have created a summary of the financial statement up to 30th September 2021 – click here to view
